Wangila Waliaula

Wangila Waliaula is a senior founding partner of MAW Advocates LLP. He was admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 2015 and also has over 8 years post admission experience. He has a wealth of experience in commercial litigation and arbitration, legal compliance and risk management, public policy and governance, data protection and information technology law.

He offers expertise and value addition in regulatory compliance, information security governance and he provides clear and straightforward solutions for clients through Contracts, Advice and Transactions (CATs), training regulatory assessment and policies (TRAPs) and Risk at Tolerance System (RATs).

Wangila served as a Council Member of the Law Society of Kenya, Nairobi branch from March 2018 to March 2020 during which time he was a member of the Committee on Continuous Professional Development and from March 2020 to March 2022 during which time he served as the Treasurer. He is currently the Chairperson of Safaricom Investment Cooperative where he provides his governance and legal compliance expertise.
